How to Earn Gold
Remember, these are the ONLY ways to get Gold. Do NOT trust third-party sites that claim to 'Hack' Gold. They're scams that will steal your account.
1: Leveling UP
This is the quickest and easiest method! Every levels reached add a Gold reward to the player’s account. The more levels you have, the more Gold you earn when Leveling UP. To claim your Gold reward you need to enter a game.
All Gold rewards for each levels reached are listed on the Golden Update News.
However you don't earn Gold when Leveling up from the Level 31 in the Friends server.
2: Marketplace Sales
This is by far the second easiest method to earn Gold. All you have to do is create Models and Avatars that everyone will enjoy! When a model is purchased, you earn 1 Gold, and when an avatar is purchased, you get 14 Gold.
3: Bug Reports
This method takes more time to do, but is very rewarding. Upon successfully reporting a Bug, you are given a Bug Report Point, the Tester Badge on your profile, and 120 Gold!
When reporting your fifth, you earn 240 Gold, and on reporting your tenth, you earn 480.
When reporting a bug from the Live server (WWW), you earn 40 Gold and one Report Point, while if your bug is on the Friends server and not in the Live server, you earn 80 Gold and two Points.
Finding bugs is difficult, but it is very rewarding for both players and Developers.
4: Competitions
When there are competitions around, you should grab some Friends and have at it! Winners usually earn a Badge as well as some Gold. Even if you don't win, you can be happy that you made a fantastic game with some fantastic Friends!
5: Purchasing Gold Packages or Elite
Have some money laying around that you're not going to use? Well, first of all, you should probably save it - but if you don't want to, why not support KoGaMa?
Purchasing a Gold Package not only gives you gold but a Badge as well! You might want access to all available Themes! Besides, you're helping KoGaMa stay afloat!
You can also earn Daily Gold and a lot of other cool perks by purchasing a Subscription.
6: Game Tiers
Simply add Crystals to your game! Thanks to Game Tiers, which allows you to save progression per game, you can earn Gold!
Every time a player buys a Tier in your game, the Gold is shared between the members of the game. Members without Elite will get 10% of the Gold, and Elite members will get 70% of the Gold.
7: Community Events
If you feel like you can't do any of the above, you should try joining Community-Hosted events! Some very generous players host events for all to participate in! Gold is oftentimes a prize! Simply ask around or join the Community-Driven KoGaEvents server!
